How is electricity billed at Exhibit On Superior?

Answer
At Exhibit On Superior, electricity is billed to the resident directly by ComEd, separate from rent. Water, sewer, trash, heat, air conditioning, and natural gas for cooking and the clothes dryer are covered by the monthly Utility & Service Amenity fee of $95–$195 by floor plan. You set up your ComEd account in your own name.
Electricity is the one utility metered and billed to you individually by ComEd, so usage habits affect that bill directly.
Everything else — water, sewer, trash, heat, A/C, and gas for cooking and the dryer — is bundled into the flat Utility & Service Amenity fee.
Setting up your ComEd account
You open the electricity account in your own name with ComEd, the local utility, rather than through the building. Doing this before or at move-in ensures power is active on day one.
Because electricity is metered to each apartment, your monthly bill reflects your own usage. Everything else needed to run the home — heat, air conditioning, and gas for cooking and the dryer — stays inside the flat Utility & Service Amenity fee.
Do I get one bill or several?
You receive two housing-related charges: rent, which includes the monthly Utility & Service Amenity fee of $95–$195 by floor plan on your ledger, and a separate ComEd statement for electricity. There are no additional metered water, gas, or trash bills.
This split keeps budgeting simple, since only electricity varies with how much you use. The bundled fee is set by floor plan, so a studio pays $95 and a three-bedroom pays $195 regardless of month-to-month usage.
What about internet?
Internet is handled separately from electricity and the bundled fee, and every apartment is already wired for 1GB.
Confirm current internet service, pricing, and setup with the leasing office. Electricity setup, by contrast, is always through your own ComEd account.
Pricing, availability, fees, and leasing policies may change. Current unit-specific information appears on the Available Units page.
