How do I apply for an apartment at Exhibit On Superior?
Reviewed by the Exhibit On Superior leasing team · Updated
Answer
To apply for an apartment at Exhibit On Superior, open any available residence on the Available Units page and use its Apply Now button. Each unit links to its own secure online application through the AppFolio leasing system. The application fee is $60 per applicant, and approval typically takes one to three business days.
What to have ready
Have a state or federal government-issued photo ID ready. Renters insurance with minimum liability-to-landlord (LLI) coverage of $300,000 is required.
A minimum credit score of 700 is required without a co-signer, or 600+ with a qualified co-signer.
How the online application works
Each available residence links to its own secure online application through the AppFolio leasing system, so you apply for the exact home you want rather than a generic waitlist. Live rent, photos, and move-in dates on the Available Units page update automatically from the leasing system, letting you confirm a home is still open before you start.
The $60 application fee is charged per applicant, and every adult who will live in the apartment submits a separate application. A separate $500 non-refundable administration fee is charged once per apartment; it is fully refunded if the property denies your application but retained if you cancel.
What happens after you submit
The leasing team reviews your application and walks you through screening, timing, and lease signing, with approval typically taking one to three business days. Pet owners acknowledge the Dog Rider and pet policy before approval, and all pets must be registered with management.
Lease terms of 12 months or longer are standard, and short-term leases are offered based on availability. For help at any step, contact the leasing team at exhibit@highlandptrs.com or 312-450-0635.
What it costs to apply and move in
There is no security deposit at the building, which lowers the cash needed up front compared with properties that collect a full month or more. Beyond the one-time application and administration fees, budget for your first month of rent and the monthly Utility & Service Amenity fee of $95 to $195 by floor plan.
Electricity is set up separately and billed directly by ComEd, while garage parking at $335 per month and on-site storage at $25 per month are optional add-ons. Live rent for every open home appears on the Available Units page so you can size up the full cost before applying.
Pricing, availability, fees, and leasing policies may change. Current unit-specific information appears on the Available Units page.
